Mubasher Mir (MIR ABBAS RAZA MUBASHER) is working as Resident Editor, Daily Pakistan Karachi, which is a famous National Urdu News Paper, is being published from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Peshawar. He has been working in this profession for the last seventeen years. He did his Master Degree in Political Science from Punjab University and International Relations from University of Karachi. Now has been enrolled for PHD in University of Karachi, his topic is Pak India Relations.
He belongs to a historically and culturally rich area, District Gujranwala. He was born in Rasul Nagar a town which is situated on the left bank of River Chanab. His forefathers belong to Central Asia and migrated to Kashmir and about 100 years before this settled in Rasul Nagar, District Gujranwala in Punjab Province. After completion his Intermediate, he shifted to Lahore and completed his Graduation from Government Islamia College Civil Lines. He started his carrier in Media and spent five years in Lahore then shifted Karachi in 2000.
During his career he worked in various capacities, like Supplement Manager, General Manager, Bureau Chief and Joint Editor as well.
He is an Interviewer, Columnist and Political Analyst. He participated in number of TV Channels as Political Analyst, in different talk shows and also worked as Anchor for political and social programs.
He is an author of a Book in Urdu, “India Gate”. It is a Travel story.
He visited various countries for conference and seminars like India, Iran Singapore, UAE, Syria, Thailand and Italy.
He is a pioneer of Energy Awards in Karachi. As an activist, social worker and professional he got various Awards and certificates from numerous organizations.
He is also a member of different professional and social organizations.
